What is the purpose of property and casualty insurance?

Property and casualty (P&C) insurance describes two forms of broad insurance coverage that can financially protect your business or organization against the loss or damage of physical property or if someone is injured while on your property. When you have a business with one or more locations, you take on a risk that something will become damaged or someone (a guest or an employee) will become injured. P&C insurance gives businesses the protection they need to continue with the day-to-day regardless of any challenges along the way.

Andreini and Company employs an experienced, professional claim staff to assist our clients in managing their claims. This department is led by our Director of Claims, who has 25+ years of experience in claim department leadership.

Accurate, Hands-On Reporting

Every client has a dedicated claims team comprising a Claims Analyst and the Director of Claims, each playing an important role in the claims process. The Claims Analyst reports all loss notices to the insurers, reviews the appropriate coverage, and monitors the claim to its conclusion. The Director of Claims actively monitors the claim and works directly with the Claims Analysis to see the claim to closure.

Expert Claim Management

Once the claim is opened by the carrier, the Claim Analyst monitors the claim to ensure that the claim is processed timely and if any issues arise that they are settled with the adjuster. The Claims Analyst keeps the client informed throughout the process, so the client is never left in the dark. The Andreini P&C Claims Team sees the claim through to closure, regardless if it is denied or subrogated.

If a claim is denied, the Claim Analyst reviews the insurance carrier’s denial with Andreini & Company management to develop an appropriate plan of action to form the basis of an appeal to the carrier. This may include elevating the matter to the insurance carrier's management executives. Andreini & Company has been highly successful in convincing insurance carriers to accept claims they previously denied.

If a claim can be subrogated after the settlement of the claim with the insured, the Claim Analyst ensures the insurance carrier is pursuing the subrogation claim expeditiously.
